We are delighted to announce that the annual Mid Devon Show is set to return to Tiverton this July! This award-winning show celebrates the wonders that the county has to offer, featuring an eclectic mix of fun entertainment, delicious food, independent shopping, top-class music, horticulture and more. The Mid Devon Show is a great day out for all the family to enjoy; we guarantee you’ll be spoilt for choice with eight hours of non-stop fun and entertainment!
On 24th July 2021, the Mid Devon Show will celebrate its 27th anniversary with a jam-packed programme for all ages to enjoy. Tickets must be booked in advance – check out this year’s highlights below…
Vintage Vehicles
There is a brilliant range of classic buses and vintage cars on display this year, as well as a selection of steam engines from Berry Brook Steam & Classics. Be sure to stop by and admire the authentic, vintage beauties on offer, as well as learning all about these spectacular steam engines.
Marvellous Machines
Each year, the Mid Devon Show invites local dealerships to showcase their mighty machines. Enjoy interesting demonstrations of farm machinery and even a spot of horse-pulled ploughing during your fun family day out.
Classic Countryside Area
The dedicated countryside area is jam-packed full of demonstrations and exhibits that celebrate the best of Devon life. From owls to fly casting and ponies to ferret racing, you can get up close and personal with a wide range of fascinating wildlife. Ferret racing is a firm favourite for young ones!
Fantastic Food & Drink
The Mid Devon Show showcases the finest food and drink on offer in the south-west. Enjoy tasty treats, from local cheeses to sweet take away snacks, from the lovely traders’ stalls, or stop off at the bar for a local ale or two. The possibilities are endless!
Delightful Dog Ring
Each year, members of the public get involved and show off their impressive dogs. It costs just £1 to enter, with Rosettes awarded for many categories. Categories include best puppy, waggiest tail, best trick, loveliest lady and many more.
Lovely Livestock
The Mid Devon Show boasts one of the largest livestock areas in the region, with its sheep section considered one of England’s finest. Get up close and personal to cows and sheep, pygmy goats, pigs, chickens, and heavy horses during your visit to the livestock area.
Magnificent Main Ring
The main ring has a full schedule for 2021, providing hours of unmissable entertainment throughout the day. This year, the ring is headlined by The ATV Stunt Show, performing dramatic stunts and thrilling tricks on powerful 4-wheel ATVs. Don’t try this at home!
Magical Music
The Mid Devon Show invites a fantastic range of musical acts to perform in front of thousands. This year’s line-up features Jason Johns, Emilene, the Tiverton Amateur Operatic Society, Willow Tree Dance & Theatre Arts and many more.

There are endless activities and attractions for children to enjoy. With a fun flight simulator, fantastic fairground attractions, mischievous minions, delightful donkey rides, zorb bubble football and much more on offer; there’s plenty to keep the kids occupied on this day out in Devon!
