Go Ape at Haldon Forest is nestled in 3,500 acres of wonderful woodland, just 15 minutes from the centre of Exeter. You and your tribe can enjoy a wide range of awesome challenges, from tree-to-tree crossings and bounce nets to Segways and bike hire, against the stunning backdrop of the Dartmoor National Park.
The Bear Trail is Devon’s muddiest adventure assault course, with 30 obstacles for you and your family to discover. This award-winning outdoor attraction is designed to help you create lifelong memories, as you navigate bear nets, swing along the zip wire and crawl through tunnels. The Bear Trail is perfect for all ages, from toddlers to grandparents.
The River Dart Country Park boasts 90+ acres of wonderful woodland, scenic walking trails and lovely lakes, and is jam-packed full of adventures for all the family to enjoy. With over 25 park attractions, children can enjoy swinging through trees, tumbling through nets, and even playing pirates for the day. There is also a Toddler’s Beach and Playground (Lilliput) for young ones.

Surf Saunton is a surf school located on Saunton Sands beach; the best location for learning to surf in North Devon. This 3 ½ mile stretch of golden sands is backed by stunning dunes, with the wonderful waves catering to all abilities. All instructors are fully qualified by the ISA, providing a safe and fun environment to learn how to surf.
